Rodeo Drive Adventures

During Portland’s long winters, I find respite in our LA getaways. I feel so blessed to have great friends there who fill pour sunshine into my life whatever the forecast. This last trip, Q and I decided to drop by Rodeo Drive for an OOTD shoot. It was so beautiful out and the streets buzzed with tourists.

We were stopped part way through when Quavondo was lying down on the cobblestone streets to get “the shot”. A security guard came over and asked us what we were shooting for. When I explained it was just for my blog, he eyed me carefully before explaining that what were doing looked too professional so we had to stop.

I do believe I laughed in his face. I mean, politely of course. I asked if we could take a couple more shots like a tourist, which made him chuckle. He stood nearby while we grabbed a last few 3/4 shots.

This little adventure will always be a treasured memory for me though and I was surprised to see how many beautiful shots we captured  before our abrupt interruption.
