Spring has been INSANELY busy! I feel very in-sync with Portland weather- sunny-la-la-la-la one moment then -bam- downpour the next. Ha! It’s a mad house. When I’m crazy slammed with work, I love to pull out my go-to pieces like this Maggy London shift dress. Shift dresses seem to be universally flattering (as long as the length hits a good spot) as well as incredibly chic. I’ve been a fan of Maggy London since first seeing their dresses in my blogger feed- which you can check out on their Muse By Maggy page.
You can imagine how stoked I was to get an email from them, asking me to style some of their Spring pieces for my blog! Check out how I styled my first select and let me know what you think of the leather and lace-up details. I was really feelin the good girl gone bad vibe and played it up with dark lips, oversized sunnies and my vintage Chanel case.
How do you style up YOUR shift dresses? Let me know what you would have done with this one. Don’t forget to leave your comments below!

Hi there! I love this dress– how would you characterize the sizing? True to size?
