Obviously I’ve got a real problem here. A few years ago I didn’t even own a pair of jeans. No joke. I’ve never been a denim kind of girl. But with the recent reinvention of denim- the playful silhouettes and unexpected pattern plays of street style fashion- I’ve found myself OBSESSED with all things denim. Lucky thing since denim has never been SO in Vogue.
I think we forget that denim is a cotton. Or at least I do. It’s the most breathable, comfortable fabric that has been suiting up American’s since the very first pioneer. (Okay, okay. Maybe a few years later.) It’s difficult to imagine dungaree pants ever evolving into this Dezzal modern print jumpsuit, isn’t it? It’s such a statement piece! Again, while I’ve never been a classics jeans kind of girl, something so casually modern like this speaks to me. It offers me a bridge between my ever-so-playful personal style and an all-american classic that’s here to reign this year.
Dezzal, an asian flash-sale sight that easily rivals Topshop’s quirkinesss and Zara’s pricepoints, is definitely bookmark worthy in your browser. What do you think? See my previous feature with them in my Monochrome Style Post. Happy Reading!
