I am so excited to team up with SkirtIt, the designer behind this stunning pencil skirt, to give my readers an exclusive 15% off!! Just head over to their site and use the code LAVENDA15 upon checkout! There skirts are built with stretch to fit any body type, but they are thick enough to tuck a blouse into without terrible lines peeking through! (Pictured here in Cherry Red, XS)
Valentines Day is the achilles heel of most fashionista’s, because of those tricky “romantic” implications. While we are either single, dating, or in a relationship… the day never seems to arrive right in the midst of our romances. So, that’s why I suggest this outfit as a celebration for love in general.
This look is casual, which means you can wear it all day and then by taking off the over-shirt, you’re ready for dinner/drinks. I wanted to do my own take on the classic pencil silhouette, so I paired this green, cargo button-up with a silk Theory blouse and then added more of a military touch with this bronzy spiked necklace. *TIP- I found this cargo shirt in the kids boy section. It’s a size 14 so it’s still a bit oversized, but fits through the shoulders perfectly.
If you want to continue with that theme, I also recommend trying some combat boots with scrunched socks!
