Toyota Road Trip

For those who haven’t enjoyed the road trip from LA to Palm Springs- I must say- DOOOOO it! The Windmill drive is something out of a Steven King novel. It’s awe-inspiring and magical.

I have to thank Toyota for making our road-trip both possible and incredibly comfortable! We made ourselves quite at home in the 2016 Swagger Wagon for nearly 12 hours of drive time over 5 days. It was definitely a luxury-meets-the-outdoors experience.

We spent our time between Indio, Joshua Tree and Palm Springs throughout the weekend. Spending so much time in a car can be daunting, but it kind of felt like an ongoing concert with my girl Mia in the music seat. She found the 2016 Toyota Sienna sound system super easy to set up and use as bluetooth with her iPhone. I also loved the satellite radio. The stations come through so clear despite driving through long stretches in the desert.

Even roadside, I felt like we had our own trailer with how much room the Sienna provided. With three actor/models in tow, we were lugging a major festival haul, yet we never once felt cramped.

Once arriving to Vestal Village, we found it such an asset to store any extra items in the Wagon. The auto open and close trunk, plus extra storage and seats had us cooling off inside the van between long days at the pool. Gas mileage was incredible and a couple times I may have pressed the pedal to the metal. (It goes from 50-90 like buttah).

After five days of intimate acquaintance with this swagger wagon, all my reviews include heart emoticons. Just look at this sexy beast. 😉Vestal and Toyota-101
