Spring Trends with Emily Mills

Spring is my favorite time of year in Portland (maybe second to Summer) because the winters are SOOOOO long here! When Spring finally arrives with color and sunshine, I remember why I love this city and call it home. It also reminds me of change, inspiration and hope. There’s something nostalgic about the rebirth of cherry blossoms every year…

THIS year I decided to team up with fellow fashionista, Emily Mills, for a Spring Trends series. We wanted to share a few trends for Spring that we’ll be sporting from our own closets. This first set includes weathered denim, stripes and high waists; Not to mention a 2015 staple- HATS!

I am wearing stripes and plaids to keep things fresh. I love the idea of mixing patterns and because I’m wearing “jeans and a T-shirt” I wanted to add a splash with this Statement Lux necklace.
