So. Freaking. Excited!!! With summer nearing it’s end and everyone scrambling to get ready for Fall, I get to have one last hoorah at Music Fest NW‘s Project Pabst Music Festival with favorite bands like Tame Impala and Parquet Courts! My friends at Kettle Brand asked if I could hook you up with a behind-the-scenes of the festivities so of course I’ve gotta spread the word!
This is probably the best festival to hit downtown Portland this summer with retro big hitters Duran Duran and Icecube headlining along with cult favorites like Strfkr and my personal favorite Tame Impala. Project Pabst is a two-day festival at Portland’s Waterfront Park, which means waterfront views, the best of Portland’s famous summers and front lawn seats to a great show. Food and beverages will be provided and you’ll see ME running around with a bag of Kettle Brand chips in hand, but keep in mind this event is 21+.
Project Pabst tickets are available for purchase at Ticketfly.com where you can find the full lineup as well. General admission tickets are available as a single day or a two-day pass, but I recommend grabbing the two-day pass and taking time to explore the waterfront over the weekend. This year tickets are also available with a reduced service fee at the Musicfest NW box office located at: Willamette Week – 2220 NW Quimby St. Portland, OR 97210. The Box Office is open 9 a.m. to 12:30p.m. & 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
NOTE: There will be a major construction project taking place across the river in the Rose Quarter during the weekend of Project Pabst. The Rose Quarter Transit Center, Convention Center and 7th Avenue MAX stations will be closed and they will be running shuttle buses between those stations.
