This particular trip to the Painted Hills was not my favorite, haha. Travelers be warned 😉 It was an incredibly long trip from the city to our hotel in bend then to the hills and not as relaxing as Jose and I had planned for. The Hills themselves- well that’s a whole other matter. See for yourself…
The painted hills are something magical that I think every Oregonian, or visitor should see. We hiked up the hills twice in one day, so you’ll notice both the deep sunset colors and the hills painted in more of a clear, afternoon light. You can read more about my trip to these ethereal mountains in my previous post here.
Jose and I planned for a relaxing weekend outdoors so I brought some live-in pieces like this Morrison Grey top. I love that it’s a buttery soft blend that I can move it, while sporting details like these lace elbow sleeves. I paired this with some stretch denim that I could easily hike in. And while I don’t recommend platform sandals for normal hikes, I would rate this as a 1 or 2 so these silver platforms lived up to the occasion!
