This post is in partnership with Lord & Taylor via Shopping Links, but all styling, commentary and final reviews remain my own.
There is nothing quite like a good sale to get my blood pumping! With Spring in full flex, I have been pulling together more and more colorful ensembles to reflect this transitional season into warmer days. The KEY is to layer, so if you are still looking for some key layering pieces, check out the Lord & Taylor friends and family sale, where you can get my full look for an additional 30% off right now!
Last year’s colors palettes includes so many beautiful pastels and every shade of pink imaginable. This year’s Pantone color of the year, Greenery, offers another stroke of color to paint into your wardrobe this season, as you can see in my Pineapple Pattern Bomber. This light-weight jacket is what I would call a “dusty green” with a subtle pattern that I find fun to mix with other patterns in the same dusty shades.
My floral cold-shouldered top is quite feminine and fun for spring, while my tapered drawstring pants play down the look a bit and create an overall sporty/casual vibe with my twin braids and bomber. The pants DO run small. This was my first time ordering the Miss Selfridge brand and I will definitely order one full size up from now on.
To accessorize the look and continue the layered, spring vibe I am wearing a mauve handbag (also can be worn as a crossbody) by Louise Et Cie. This particular bag is sold out, but a very similar Pink Fringe Crossbody is still in stock. Additionally, I styled a pair of very popular Marc Fisher Espadrille Wedge Sandal in medium brown. I love this color, because the leather wears more like a warm grey and seems to go with nearly everything from dresses, shorts and trousers, as seen here.
The Friends & Family sale has been extended for a total savings of up to 65% off, so be sure to head over to their site before it ends! 10% off almost all cosmetics and fragrances too. Use Code: FRIENDS
