I was finally able to attend my favorite Portland Fashion show after 2 years of unlucky travel dates. Jose joined me to check out the full scope of Portland’s fashion scene for the first time, so I was very excited to see that one of my favorite designers Walter Mendez was in the lineup.
There were quite a few dazzling pieces from Ohlendorf Atelier followed by a surprisingly casual denim collection by Katherine Tessier. Very sharp and wearable pieces that resonates with all denim lovers!
Of course, Walter Mendez stole the show and was right on point with shows from NYFW and PFW this season which featured a lot of this Emerald color, couture lace and feathers along with the strong bell sleeve trend. This collection is a nostalgic line up of wearable eye candy and true couture vision. As a native Portlander, I am SO proud to share the same hometown as such a stunning creative.
