Sponsored by Kroger for Dip Clothing
The new Dip Clothing Line just hit Fred Meyer stores this year, so obviously me and the fam had to scope things out and style up some new threads. We’ve been shopping at Fred Meyer’s for years now and are excited to add the new line for men, women and children to our list of must-shop-stops.
I’m wearing the women’s Dip athleisure joggers and a cozy star print sweater that I paired together for a casual, but stylish outing with Ella. Ella is wearing a Dip chevron top and pleated skirt from their children’s line. It’s still a bit too warm, but we have some cute jackets from their children’s collection on our winter-wish-list. They also make a mens line that I glimpsed in passing and similar to the women’s line- offers workout gear, athleisure wear and lifestyle clothing.
“Designed by renowned designer Joe Mimran (Joe Fresh, Pink Tartan, Club Monaco) the clothes feel great in your hand, are made from quality materials” and you’ll find the same attention to detail we’ve come to expect from Mimran.
We are all about that one-stop shopping experience at Fred Meyers and 80% of the line is $19 or less! An experience that adds not only convenience, but quality and value we can trust. What do you think of this new everyday value brand?

I would like to purchase more DIP clothing. The store appears to sell only seasonal. How can I purchase specific items that are unavailable? Online maybe?

at least here in oregon, the dip brand is not living up to what we need or want.at a time when retail icons like penneys and sears have been closing stores left and right, Fred meyer had a particularly good “in” for that market. Not only did Fred Meyers offer many of the brands available at penneys at a reduced “everyday” price, but Fred meyers has been the go to place for those of us who needed practical, everyday clothing in tall (both men and women) or big/tall (mens) siZes. I figure that, before the dip brand, I had averaged $100 or more in clothing purchases There. I bought multiple items-jeans, yoga pants, a sweater, and blouses-for my daughter and myself when they came out, and we have discarded or given away all of them. Not only are they cut for a narrower framed model (something that one of the regional store managers confirmed in person with me), but the sizing is inconsistent, the styling either dated or odd (strange pocket placement on blouses, for instance, or too short of crotch to waistline length on buttoned pants), and the fabric of a lower grade quality. I don’t care if the cost is cheaper–I only have so much room in my closet, so I will buy items that wear well for as long as they are fashionable, rather than items I must toss in 6 months and replace. Joe fresh did not do well at Penneys for much of the same reasons–too light of cloth, too narrow of shoulders in shirts, and cheaply made (I bought some of those, too, but rarely wore them because they wrinkled so badly). It is almost as if Kroger is trying to downsize its quality, something that those of us who need clothing that will actually stand up to work and washing find disagreeable. Why buy something that will end up in a landfill long before its time? In talking to multiple store associates in the fred meyer stores, they seem to agree. They also wish Kroger would allow Fred Meyer stores more autonomy in these matters. Once again, Kroger shows that it does not understand the needs or wants of its Pacific Northwest customers very well.
