What draws me to a particular fragrance is not only a mix of my favorite notes, but like most- the nostalgia and emotional connection with the layered scents.
During the day I gravitate toward fresh florals and subtle fruits. Along with these notes the Dana Tabu Rose also includes cedar and amber. It compliments my summer lifestyle between the office and the forested outdoors. The bottle design takes me back to dreams of old Hollywood and Nick-at-Night shows where glamorous women sprayed their necks with delicate scents.
Dana’s new Tabu Rose is an essential day eau de parfum that wears well up 8 hours. I Recommend 2-3 sprays for a subtle scent and up to 5 sprays if you are more active. It often takes me weeks to test a new scent, because I like to see how it wears over the course of a few hours.
I like to know how it incorporates into my lifestyle and often change out scents seasonally. I prefer Tabu Rose as a day-time scent though I think it also compliments long summer nights. It’s a gorgeous blend with the strongest notes being rose and cedar leading the way for more subtle notes of lychee and amber.
