This little lot right here have been learning ALL kinds of beautiful lessons about God’s grace, generosity and faithfulness this season.

Being a blended family comes with many new challenges, but we have been comforted in knowing that God provides for his children- adult children included. 😜 Anyhow, for me and my house- we will #PraiseTheLord for what’s to come, with another move just around the corner. We’ve all been praying for clear direction on which neighborhood to move and call home for the next few years. 🙏🏼 I’ve definitely learned that pushing past Gods will for my life, often leads to seasons of hardship; Whereas if I wait a bit longer and seek His will, He places me exactly where He wants me. Sometimes it’s unexpected and far outside of my own original plan. But who cares, right? God is good. He is faithful. He’ll place us right where we’re supposed to be. 😊 #GodBless

A puffer coat with a button-up and vest: WHY NOT?! 😉 I’ve been throwing on this puffer with jeans almost everyday, because I love where it hits with high-waisted denim. This extra layer hid my waist however, and made me feel slightly bulky, so maybe higher boots next time?

I go through spells on here, you may have noticed, where I just share my fashion tips then dip out. Sometimes for a couple days and sometimes for weeks on end. 🙈 There’s a method to that madness though, which is this: If it isn’t God’s voice, I’m not transcribing it. In other words, I’m not just going to share insincere “Christian content” for the sake of content.

If you see a dry spell 🌵 of lengthy posts it’s usually one of two things: 1: I’m busy enjoying Gods blessings and spending less time online, period. Or sadly 2: I’m busy stressing about life and not staying still long enough to hear God’s voice. Bummer, when it’s the latter.
These last couple of weeks, God has been blessing our family with some much needed rest and presence of mind with the kids. 👩‍👧👨‍👧‍👧 Whew! But intermittently, I’ve found myself busy with unnecessary worries or just life in general, stealing Gods place in the drivers seat in those moments.
Today I was reminded of this: We were not made for this world; We were made for eternal life and communion in the presence of our loving, faithful God. So, while we are here in this life, there will be TONS of struggles, heartaches and worries. BUT we have to remember this: God wrote each of our stories.
We can place our full trust and confidence in He who knew the end from the very beginning. Then, and only then, do we receive the gifts of His Spirit, an outpouring into and then from our own hearts unto others: love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self control.

No if’s. No buts. Who here can add to their lifespan by worrying? Be still before God and wait patiently for Him; don’t worry about the people in your life or out in the world causing trouble. God has your back! And your frontlines and your peripherals. 😊
