I first discovered Cabana during Portland Design Week. They had a pop-up shop set up and caught my eye immediately with some special pieces in gorgeous prints. I’m so glad I took their contact info and have reconnected since then! What makes Cabana special is that they offer a unique, custom shopping experience to the Portland shopper. They have a great online shop that is growing as well.
“Cabana brings labels from Los Angeles, New York and all over the world right to your doorstep, if desired. Or, you can attend one of our events where you will have a personalized shopping experience among friends as well as get an up close look into new trends emerging from the hottest up-and-coming design houses.“
It’s cool to see a small business blooming in Portland, who is curating national trends and offering us fashionistas a stunning variety.
You can see me wearing two of their sweaters in this feature… Sweaters are a year round layering piece in Portland, so these are perfect transitional options. For Spring I like to go with lighter knits that can be layered or worn alone. The blue one has beautiful heart-knit detailing and a slight crop fit. The blue is perfect for Spring and it breathes nicely over my cotton dress. The second tan sweater is a bit lighter even. My favorite detail is the pleat straight down the back. I love the wide v-neck and again, the slight crop fit. Here I wore it layered over a bright plaid (for some fun) with black denim. The suede fringe booties add a bit of country to the entire look, but this sweater is versatile. I can see myself wearing it with skirts and blue jean shorts when it warms up. You can check out more of Cabana’s inventory HERE. And right now they are offering 35% to all my readers! Just use the promo code “LAVENDA”.
I will hopefully be collaborating with them on some future products so keep an eye out! xoxo
