Athleta- Stretch Your Limits in the PNW

We are in full-on back to school mode at our house, which means that I finally get my normal work schedule on the books (that free-lance life) and Fall weather is just around the corner. While I’m definitely all about that caramel spice latte and curling up on a rainy day, I’m challenging myself to stretch my limits this season and get our butts outdoors each week!

Perhaps the greater challenge here is getting Ella into something stylish that still fits her criteria for comfort. Ella and I have been going for evening walks almost daily since she was a toddler. A part of living in the PNW is baring the elements and I always want my daughter to seek adventure outdoors- rain or shine. Having grown up in Texas myself, I found the thought of raising Ella in a dominantly overcast climate quite daunting. But we’ve figured out a great routine for the rainy seasons that includes weekly outings like visiting the local science museum, Omsi, heading to the library or local bookstore and simply getting outdoors for a walk or hike.
