I used to stereotype LA girls.. Short shorts, tight- well, tight everything… But after having spent quite some time in LA, I’ve found the stereotypes to be less than accurate.
Los Angeles is famous for it’s year round sunshine, Hollywood and materialism. I don’t mean that in a bad way either. Remember Madonna’s “Material Girl”? So it makes sense that they are wearing less clothes and showing off their perfectly unrealistic bodies!
But layers are key for any fashion lover, so you STILL see blazers, wraps and pants in beautiful fabrics like linen, silk and cotton blends that ward off the heat and allow year round layering!
I really admire LA for it’s fashion scene and have come to appreciate the resourceful options for year round summer-wear!
This is an outfit I wore to a tour of YouTube studios, back in my YouTubing days (ahem- about 3 months ago). I wanted to keep cool with light layers and shorts, but added some fun accessories to make the outfit feel more complete.
